David Vretchkoff runs Veg Art Airbrushing and has so since 1989.

 

His specialty is airbrushing murals in kid's bedrooms,

feature walls in homes, cafe's, restaurants and sides of buildings.

As well he'll airbrush murals on cars, bike tanks, trucks, surfboards,

"anything"

that paint will stick to.

 

David's work on has appeared in numerous surf magazines,

surf videos and as well as local papers, television & promotional work for radio stations.

 

He has worked with Sony records to help promote bands such as

Pearl Jam, Reef and Midnight Oil. He's also worked with Radio stations

Triple M's Club Veg with the give away of

Kev the kombi.

 

He has helped promote Coca Cola, Schweppes,

Cougar Bourbon, Midori, Tooheys and cafe's such as Hogs Breath.

Other people that David's done work for include rugby league players

Robbie O'Davis and Bill Peden from the Newcastle Knights

and Steve Menzies and Nic Kosef from Manly Sea Eagles.

 

David's work has taken him to Japan, where he has painted surfboards,

shop fronts and paintings on canvas.

 

 

David was involved with the National Museum of Australia's opening,

in an exhibition called "Eternity".

David and 49 other Australians were invited to tell their stories and exhibit a piece of their work.

The piece David has on loan to the museum is an airbrushed surfboard with

an above and below ocean marine fantasy,

David's specialty.
